Welcome to Lux Sea Cruises. By booking a cruise through our website (luxseacruises.com) or via direct contact, you (the “Client”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and Lux Sea Cruises (the “Company”).
1. Booking and Payment

Reservation Deposit: A booking is only considered “Confirmed” once the required deposit has been paid.

Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be settled either via the online booking system prior to departure or in person at the Port of Ormos Panagias on the day of the cruise via credit/debit card or cash.

Pricing: All prices include VAT, fuel (for standard itineraries), skipper services, and listed amenities. Any requested deviations from standard routes may incur additional fuel charges.

Payment Policy/Methods
To secure your luxury cruise, we operate a two-stage payment process:

Reservation Deposit: To confirm your booking, a deposit is required at the time of reservation. This payment is processed securely online via Nexi XPay.

Remaining Balance: The balance of your cruise can be settled:

Online: Via your account dashboard prior to the departure date.

At the Marina: In person at Marina Latoura (Ormos Panagias) on the day of the cruise before boarding.

Accepted Methods of Payment
For both the deposit and the balance, we accept credit, debit, and prepaid cards from the following providers:

Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners Club, and Discover.

2. Mandatory Legal Documentation (Coast Guard)
Per Greek Maritime Law, a passenger manifest must be submitted to the Port Authorities for every departure.

Submission: The Client must provide full details (Name, Passport/ID Number, Nationality, Date of Birth) for all passengers no later than 48 hours prior to departure.

Identification: All guests must carry their declared ID/Passport (physical or electronic) during the cruise. Failure to provide this info will result in a cancellation with 0% refund.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation policy is strictly enforced to protect our seasonal scheduling. Refunds are calculated based on the total cruise cost:
4. Weather and Safety Cancellations

The “Skipper’s Decision”: The Captain/Skipper is the sole authority regarding sea safety. Cruises will proceed in rain or clouds unless wind speeds or wave heights exceed safety limits.

Company Cancellation: If Lux Sea Cruises cancels a trip due to extreme weather or mechanical failure, the Client will be offered a reschedule or a 100% refund.

Route Alteration: The Captain reserves the right to alter the itinerary (e.g., visiting Diaporos instead of Kavourotrypes) if local weather conditions make the primary destination unsafe.
5. Fleet and Third-Party Vessels (Cranchi Zaffiro 34)

Lux Sea Cruises operates a fleet of owned vesselsand managed third-party vessels.

For third-party vessels, Lux Sea Cruises acts as the authorized charter agent. Liability for mechanical performance on third-party vessels rests with the vessel’s registered owner, though Lux Sea Cruises maintains all quality and safety oversight.
6. Conduct and Damage to Vessel

Prohibited Items: Illegal drugs, smoking in cabins/interiors, and red wine (due to staining risks on upholstery) are strictly prohibited.

Client Liability: The Client is financially responsible for any damage caused to the vessel (including the 2026 Saxdor 270‘s specialized equipment and upholstery) caused by negligence, unruly behavior, or failure to follow the Skipper’s instructions.

Safety Briefing: Guests must follow the safety briefing provided by the Skipper. Life jackets are provided for all ages and are mandatory upon Skipper’s request.
7. Liability Waiver

Participation in sea activities (swimming, snorkeling, boarding/disembarking) involves inherent risks. Lux Sea Cruises is not liable for personal injury, loss of personal property (phones, cameras), or sea sickness.

All vessels are fully insured as per Greek Law requirements for commercial professional boats.
8. Use of Media
Lux Sea Cruises reserves the right to use photos or videos taken during the cruise for promotional purposes unless the Client explicitly requests privacy in writing prior to departure.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic. Any disputes shall be settled exclusively in the courts of Halkidiki/Thessaloniki.
